August already

Here it is August already. Mom and I are quickly getting ready to take a small vacation August 8th, 2010 through??? We don't know when we will be back. Oh the pure joy, hotels, food, sight-seeing, it's going to be fun. Mom has a doctor's appt on August 10th in SLC, so after that we are free to travel and see the sights. Did I mention sending out postcards to family and friends? Oh yeah.

My animals will be up the mountain with my half sister Anna while we are gone. I guess I should be making a list for what I need to pack. Love to all, Leslie Ann.

Weather, is it summer?

It is now June 24th, 2010. The weather has been wet, wet, wet. Yesterday the rain quit and we had a sunny 84 degrees. I have to say my trailer gets very hot in warm weather, about 10 degrees hotter than outside. Today will be warmer than yesterday.

Mom is gone for a month, so I've been "sitting" her garden and yard since June 6th. The strawberries are so delicious and plentiful. The snap peas are now on along with the strawberries.

I've been getting some sun each day the sun is out for just a little bit. I've got a good tan (starting) going now. I love the sun!! Leo is black so I have to watch his sun time.

Seeing Bree after many years

Early Spring

The weather here in Pendleton has been wonderful. We've definately been teased by an early Spring-like weather. I found four starts of tulips in my yard that I didn't even know were hiding under the Ivy. I got to plant some Iris' and daisies too. I am looking forward to the real Spring arriving so I can plant my wall of sunflowers along the fence.
The weather people say we could see a few white flakes of snow Monday and/or Tuesday morning. We'll see if they are right or not. The last three nights we've had a semi heavy frost on the ground. Oh how I long for the real Spring to turn up and the sun to shine warmer. I can't complain, the last few days of sunshine have been so beautiful. Hugs, Leslie.

January 24th, 2010

Well, it's been a very long week. I fell twice and my bad knee is really paying for both of the falls. Limping around is definately not one of my favorite things to do. Wearing my knee brace is not fun either, lol.

ALMOST NEW YEARS!!!!!

A new year, 2010 just around the corner. 2009 was good to me, I can't complain. So many changes in 2009, I am ready for more little changes, not the life altering kind. Positive thoughts are here as we inch toward the New Year. What JOY, I wish for peace and love.

Perhaps in 2010 my muse will come back and I can start to write again!
